Call the freephone number below or e-mail us on wtw@wales.nhs.uk

for advice and support to help you stay well in work (please note, calls may be chargeable from mobiles).

The Wellbeing through Work service is available for you as an employee at no cost to yourself or employer. It can provide help  if you are having difficulties which are affecting your work or health, including

  • confidential help and advice to manage stress, worry and low mood
  • support for health and other issues in the workplace
  • advice on managing muscle and joint problems

You can contact us directly or your employer can do this (with your consent)

When you ring, your details  will be taken and you will be offered an appointment for a confidential assessment over the phone in the next 24 hours.  Over the next few weeks you will have telephone support or face to face support dependent on your needs.  A short course is also offered if appropriate.

The service is provided by qualified NHS Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists working for Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Health Board and Remploy employment advisors and is made possible through the EU via the Welsh Government.

"I found the telephone support invaluable at a time when I was at my lowest. It meant I didn’t have to physically get to an appointment at a time when I knew I couldn’t and would have cancelled. I have been able to set and achieve small goals and am now back at work. I have recommended the service to colleagues"Wellbeing through Work Participant
